In my last 5 blog posts we covered the Law of Attraction, the Law of Receiving and the Law of Increase.
To be honest, I can see how the Laws of Receiving and Increase work together in a Yin-Yang kind of way. That being said, I’ve struggled to see the difference in those 2 working together and the Law of Attraction. So I did some homework and here is what I have discovered.
The Laws of Receiving and Increase, often associated with personal development and spiritual growth, share some similarities with the Law of Attraction, but they also have key differences. Here's how they differ:
Nature of Focus:
Law of Attraction: The Law of Attraction emphasizes the idea that like attracts like. It suggests that what you focus on and the energy you emit will attract similar energies and experiences into your life. It focuses primarily on thoughts and emotions.
Laws of Receiving and Increase: These laws focus on giving and receiving, as well as aligning with the idea of abundance. While thoughts and emotions are still important, these laws underscore the significance of taking action and giving generously to create a flow of abundance.
Action vs. Visualization:
Law of Attraction: Visualization and positive thinking are central components of the Law of Attraction. The emphasis is on creating a mental image of your desires and using the power of thought to manifest them. It’s all about aligning your energy vibration with that of what you are seeking to attract.
Laws of Receiving and Increase: While thoughts and beliefs are essential, these laws also stress the importance of taking inspired action and being receptive to opportunities. They encourage generosity and giving without immediate expectation of receiving in return.
Relationship Dynamics:
Law of Attraction: The Law of Attraction is often associated with individual desires and goals. It teaches that your personal thoughts and emotions influence what you attract into your life.
Laws of Receiving and Increase: These laws often emphasize a broader perspective, including how individuals can contribute to the well-being of others and the world at large. They highlight the interconnectedness of giving and receiving.
Philosophical Framework:
Law of Attraction: The Law of Attraction is a more general concept and doesn't necessarily require a specific philosophical framework or belief system.
Laws of Receiving and Increase: These laws may be associated with certain belief systems that align with ideas of universal abundance and interconnectedness. They often carry a more spiritual or philosophical aspect.
Intentions:
Law of Attraction: The focus is often on attracting personal desires, such as wealth, love, and success.
Laws of Receiving and Increase: The emphasis is not only on receiving but also on giving and contributing to the well-being of others and the world.
Conclusion
In summary, while the Laws of Receiving and Increase and the Law of Attraction share common themes related to the power of thought and belief, they differ in their emphasis on action, generosity, interconnectedness, and the broader context in which they are applied. The Laws of Receiving and Increase tend to be more holistic in their approach, encompassing both individual and collective abundance, whereas the Law of Attraction focuses primarily on individual desires and thoughts.
